About

My name is Francesca Barone

I have been suffering from vitiligo since the age of six.

After trying different therapies that did not bring any improvement, in 2014 I learnt about the vitiligo treatment designed by Professor Karin Schallreuter.
The treatment is to be carried out on the Dead Sea in Jordan.
The therapy involves a combination of climatotherapy with the use of a pseudocatalase cream.

Since Professor Schallreuter no longer practices as she is retired, for the past couple of years I have been organizing group trips to Jordan, for people affected by vitiligo, in order to treat this disease following Professor Schallreuter's protocol, promoting the continuity of her effective treatment.

Disclaimer: I am not a dermatologist. I am just a patient affected by vitiligo and my goal is to share my experience in order to help those people affected by this condition.
