Shima has been affected by vitiligo since the age of five.

In 2018 she followed the vitiligo climatotherapy treatment at the dead Sea in Jordan for the first time.

The positive results were visible after 14 days of climatotherapy. within seven months, significant repigmentation (90%) was observed on both knees.
